As an Airport Ramp Agent, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently handling aircraft ground support operations at Tri Cities airport. Your day-to-day duties include loading and unloading baggage, guiding aircraft to and from gates, and operating ground service equipment on the ramp.

You will work alongside a dedicated team focused on providing exceptional experiences that get aircraft and passengers to their destination safely. The role requires attention to detail and a commitment to safety protocols in a fast-paced, outdoor airport environment.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • High school diploma or GED preferred

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload baggage, cargo, and mail from aircraft
  • Guide aircraft to and from gates using marshaling signals
  • Operate ground support equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and baggage carts
  • Perform aircraft pushback and towing operations
  • Inspect and service aircraft as needed (e.g., lavatory, water, and ground power)
  • Maintain a clean and safe ramp environment in compliance with safety regulations
  • Communicate with flight crews and ramp coordinators to ensure on-time departures
