Perform IFR flights in challenging and rapidly changing environments while acting as Captain per company operation standards. Respond efficiently to aircraft tasking and work closely with customers to maintain high safety levels. First Officers act as pilots per standards and support related responsibilities.

Coordinate and communicate effectively between crew and dispatch in a dynamic air ambulance setting. Base out of Halifax on a shifts schedule, not a touring position. Collaborate with customer-focused teams emphasizing safety and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Valid and unrestricted Transport Canada ATPL(H) License (Captain)
  • Minimum of 2000 hours rotary wing flight time (Captain)
  • Minimum of 500 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) with 200 hours multi-engine aircraft (Captain)
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Instrument Flight Operations with actual IFR flight hours as PIC (Captain)
  • Valid ATPL or passed ATPL written exams within previous 12 months (First Officer)
  • Valid Commercial Rotary-wing License with 500 hours rotary-wing time (First Officer)
  • Transport Canada Group IV Instrument rating and unrestricted Night Rating (First Officer)
  • Valid Class 1 Medical; must be willing to relocate to Halifax, Nova Scotia

Responsibilities

  • Act as a Captain as per Company operation standards
  • Perform IFR Flights in challenging and rapidly changing environment
  • Work closely with customer, respond efficiently to aircraft tasking while maintaining high level of safety
  • Coordinate and effective communication between crew and dispatch
  • Perform all duties assigned by the Chief Pilot or Base Manager
  • Act as a pilot as per Company operation standards (First Officer)
  • Support air ambulance operations and related responsibilities
