Caesars Entertainment is the world’s most geographically diversified casino-entertainment company, focused on building loyalty through great service and technological leadership. Its Dynamic FAR 91 Corporate Aviation department operates Falcon 2000EASy and Gulfstream G500 aircraft. Motivated Captain candidates are sought to join the team based in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Reporting to the Chief Pilot, the Captain ensures the safe conduct of assigned flights and holds final authority in aircraft operations. Captains comply with all Federal, State, local, foreign regulations, and company policies in the operations manual. They represent the company visibly to passengers with tact and decorum.
Day-to-day duties include acting as Pilot-in-Command, performing preflight inspections, studying weather, preparing flight plans, and calculating weight and balance. Captains ensure aircraft airworthiness, cleanliness, and passenger comfort. They manage logs, expenditures, manifests, and assist with boarding baggage.
Captains supervise the first officer and coordinate crew for smooth operations, monitoring performance and sharing knowledge. They make decisions to start, delay, cancel flights or deviate routes as conditions dictate. Collateral duties are assigned by the Chief Pilot to achieve company goals.
Captains maintain currency and proficiency in company aircraft while keeping professional industry knowledge. They communicate pertinent changes within the department. This role supports efficient, safe corporate aviation operations.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot and First class medical certificates
- FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator license
- At least one aircraft type rating
- Valid Passport and driver’s license
- Minimum of 5000 hours total flight time including 1000 Turbine PIC and 500 hours as PIC in turbojet
- Experience in corporate flight operations
- Experience in International operations
Responsibilities
- Act as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) of assigned flights
- Ensure preflight inspections are performed
- Study weather conditions at destination, enroute, alternate airports, and departure points
- Prepare Flight Plans
- Calculate and review aircraft weight and balance, fuel on board, and performance charts
- Supervise the first officer (Second-in-Command [SIC]) for smooth, safe operation
- Make decisions to start, delay, or cancel flights and deviate from planned route
- Maintain currency and skills necessary to operate Company aircraft
