The Ramp Operations Team plays a crucial part in seamless operations, processing passenger baggage and handling aircraft turnaround. Ramp Agents manage all aircraft turnaround processes, including arrival, onloading and offloading baggage, and departure. They accurately and efficiently sort outbound passenger baggage while operating ground service equipment. Regular preventative maintenance and cleaning works ensure equipment and operational areas remain optimal.
Work with your team and colleagues from other departments to provide passengers a positive journey through the airport. Fully embody the 'One Team' culture, ready to undertake other activities supporting business needs. Operations run 24/7, so expect shifts including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and bank holidays, all outdoors in varying weather.

Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong written and verbal communicator
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience operating ground service equipment (GSE) is advantageous
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Flexible availability for shifts including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and bank holidays
Responsibilities
- Manage all aircraft turnaround processes, including aircraft arrival, onloading and offloading baggage, and aircraft departure
- Accurately and efficiently sort outbound passenger baggage
- Operate ground service equipment
- Perform regular preventative maintenance and cleaning works to equipment and operational area
- Collaborate with team and other departments to provide passengers a positive journey
- Work outside in all weather conditions
- Embody the Airport’s ‘One Team’ culture and undertake other activities to support business needs
- Work scheduled shifts during 24/7 operating hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and bank holidays
