About this role

As a Flight Dispatcher, you'll be at the heart of operations, crafting and controlling ATS flight plans for every flight. You'll swiftly adapt plans as conditions change, keeping pilots and teams updated. Monitor flights in real-time while championing the safety culture.

Daily duties include preparing operational and ATS flight plans for all intended flights, including training, test, and aircraft delivery flights. Revise plans as needed and communicate changes to the pilot-in-command and involved departments. Maintain up-to-date information on flight progress and status.

Perform flight feasibility, route analyses, and tactical overviews for all flights operated by SmartLynx. Handle worldwide flight planning, including ETOPS and ultra-long-range flights. Monitor factors affecting plans, flight watch, ATC slots, and NOTAMs.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar position in an airline
  • Flight Dispatcher License considered an advantage
  • Fluent English language proficiency both verbal and written
  • Good planning skills with proper time management and flexibility
  • Ability to take ownership and solve problems
  • Aviation safety background essential
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and in writing
  • Willingness to do shift work including nights and weekends

Responsibilities

  • Prepare operational and ATS flight plans for each intended flight, including training, test, and aircraft delivery flights
  • Revise operational flight plans as conditions require and communicate revisions to the pilot-in-command and involved divisions
  • Maintain up-to-date information on the progress and status of operational flights
  • Monitor all factors and conditions that may affect the operational flight plan
  • Perform flight feasibility, route analyses, and tactical overview of all flights
  • Manage worldwide flight planning, including ETOPS and ultra-long-range flights
  • Prepare flight documentation
  • Conduct flight watch, ATC slot monitoring, and NOTAM review
