If you join us, you can play your part as a B2 Licensed Engineer at Clyde Heliport in Glasgow, supporting the safe, compliant and effective maintenance of rotary aircraft. Help keep our rotary fleet mission-ready and support vital aviation operations.
As a B2 Licensed Engineer, you’ll be responsible for delivering serviceable aircraft and maintaining engineering facilities to meet operational requirements. Day-to-day, you’ll complete line and base maintenance tasks, including avionic annuals and defect rectification. You’ll manage and resolve carry-forward or deferred defects in accordance with the MEL, supported by the LMC or Duty Manager.
You’ll work with the Line Maintenance Controller (LMC) Scotland, Avionics Supervisor and the wider Maintenance team. Ensure all maintenance activities are completed to the highest standards of safety, compliance and airworthiness. Ensure all required tools, equipment, materials and airworthiness data are available to safely complete maintenance tasks.
Handle general ground operations and support the safe movement and readiness of rotary aircraft. Comply with all Health & Safety requirements, company policies and maintenance procedures. This is a full-time, permanent, onsite role working a 4-6-4 roster over a 28-day cycle—14 days on, 14 days off—with flexibility to move days when required.
Requirements
- Line and base avionic maintenance experience
- Experience working on rotary aircraft
- Ability to repair and maintain aircraft avionics systems in line with the Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE)
- Able to raise tasks and issue approved materials via Maintenance Interface Systems
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, flight safety and Safety Management Systems (SMS)
- Valid CAA Part 66 B2 Aircraft Maintenance Licence (AML)—ideally with EC-135 and/or H-145 type ratings
- Able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance
