Are you ready to take off and start a new and exciting career in the aviation industry? Executive Aviation is hiring Ground Handlers for our Prince George Below the Wing team at the Prince George Airport (YXS) to help support our operation.

In this role, you will provide ground service support to some of Canada's best airlines. Your day-to-day involves driving and operating ground service equipment, marshalling and wing-walking aircraft to the gate, and sorting, loading, and offloading guest baggage in accordance with the load plan.

You will report directly to an amazing Shift Lead who is there to support you. The work requires personal flexibility for shift work including early mornings, days, late evenings, weekends, and holidays, and you must be willing to work outside in all types of weather.

Requirements

  • Personal flexibility to work shift work which includes early mornings, days, late evenings, weekends, and/or holidays
  • Must be able to stand, lift, bend, crouch, kneel, and push and pull for extended periods of time
  • Physical ability to consistently lift up to 70 lbs / 32 kgs
  • Must be willing to work outside in all types of weather
  • Must wear safety wear – steel toe boots (green patch), reflective vest, and hearing protection
  • Ability to meet all conditions of employment: Restricted Area pass issued by Transport Canada, a criminal background check, and a valid driver's license with a clean driver abstract

Responsibilities

  • Ensure airline procedures are followed in line with the rules and regulations of Transport Canada
  • Drive and operate ground service equipment
  • Marshall and wing-walk aircraft to gate
  • Sort, load, and offload guest baggage in accordance with load plan
  • Deliver guest baggage to claim area and unload onto conveyor system
  • Service aircraft water and lavatories
  • Inspect ramp areas for debris and remove or dispose of when found
  • Groom aircraft by cleaning the whole cabin, galleys, and lavatories, and restocking lavatory with supplies
