
About this role
Finnair is looking for OCC Crew Controllers to manage operational changes for crew scheduling in the Operations Control Center. Ensure each flight is manned with qualified crew members according to aviation authority rules and regulations. Contribute to OCC operational decision making from the crew management point of view.
Handle daily crew roster change management, secure crew qualification validity, and supervise implementation of CLAs and EASA FTL rules in daily crew planning. Track crew working hours and ensure compliance with aviation regulations. Work in shifts 24/7 as part of change management, making decisions and communicating with crew and stakeholders.
The Operations Resource Planning department carries out resource planning for cockpit crew, cabin crew, technical operations, and ground services personnel. Requirements
- Strong expertise and at least 5 years of experience in airline operations
- Ability to learn and apply in practice CLAs and EASA FTL
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience from a relevant field
- Ability to make independent decisions and excellent problem-solving skills
- Good written and spoken communication skills, both in Finnish and English
- Analytical mindset and ability to work independently
- Good tolerance for stress and ability to prioritize daily tasks
- Customer-oriented can-do attitude for decisions under pressure
