Bell pioneers advanced aviation, from breaking the sound barrier to tiltrotor systems and future programs like FLRAA, Bell 525 Relentless, and HSVTOL. Configuration Management Specialists ensure accurate, current configurations reach the shop floor for precise engineering changes. This role supports the US Army’s Future Vertical Lift modernization effort.

During aircraft development, manage significant changes, cutovers, deadlines, and modifications discussed with design engineering and supply chain teams. Execute processes in the ENOVIA environment for configuration, data, and product-related information. Monitor engineering Bill-of-Material stability and provide feedback on data issues.

Establish relationships with internal teams, USG, regulatory agencies, partners, OEMs, and suppliers. Coordinate with contracts organization and cross-functional teams to resolve issues and ensure compliance. Deliver compliant data submittals to customers.

This onsite position in Wichita, Kansas, plays a key role in shaping Army Aviation's future through precise configuration management.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in ENOVIA PLM environment for aircraft engineering
  • Experience with configuration management processes in aviation programs
  • Knowledge of CDRL and DID requirements in aerospace contracts
  • Familiarity with engineering and planning Bill-of-Materials in PLM systems
  • Understanding of data marking, contract scope, and export regulations
  • Ability to monitor and provide feedback on product data health
  • Skills in coordinating with design engineering, supply chain, and cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

  • Manage Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) and Data Item Deliverable (DID) requirements
  • Execute the change process, configuration management, data management, and product-related data in the ENOVIA environment
  • Determine and apply proper data marking to deliverable information and ensure adherence to contract scope and export regulations
  • Monitor the stability and health of the Engineering Bill-of-Material and Planning Bill-of-Material and provide feedback to data owners
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with internal and external customers including USG, regulatory agencies, partners, OEMs, and suppliers
  • Coordinate with contracts organization and customers regarding new or changing requirements
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and provide direction to data owners for compliance
  • Monitor engineering release and provide appropriate and compliant data submittals to customers
