The Domestic Flight Planner ensures the safe, legal, and efficient coordination of all Flexjet domestic flights. This role prepares and files flight plans, monitors weather and operational conditions, and maintains full regulatory compliance. Day-to-day duties include coordinating flights for safe and efficient operations and providing trip briefings with required documentation to crews and partners. Planners manage airport slot reservations and prior-permission requests while monitoring factors impacting schedules. They identify compliance issues and support resolutions for flight deviations.
This position supports flight crews, internal teams, and external partners with exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. It requires adherence to safety, security, and quality standards amid variable conditions. Collaboration ensures seamless operations across domestic networks.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in aviation or a related field; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- FAA Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate (Part 65) preferred
- Strong understanding of aviation operations, including flight planning, weather analysis, ATC flow, and regulatory compliance
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Proven ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong multitasking and time management abilities
Responsibilities
- Prepare and file domestic flight plans in compliance with regulations and company procedures
