As a key member of the flight operations team, deliver essential services supporting TC Energy's infrastructure. Enjoy unique flying opportunities including aerial support for pipeline patrols and personal transport. Work with skilled professionals in dynamic environments.

Act as Pilot in Command under direction from the Base Manager or Chief Pilot. Provide liaison with TC Energy's lines of business to deliver helicopter expertise. Participate in the Company's Safety Management system by reporting hazards and incidents.

Conduct thorough preflight planning and oversee safe aircraft configuration for patrols. Manage administrative tasks like flight duty times and document control. Contribute to safe, secure flight operations every day.

Requirements

  • High School Education
  • Valid Class 2 Aviation Medical Certificate
  • Valid Commercial (or higher) pilot certificate with minimum of 3000 flight hours
  • Rotorcraft-Helicopter category and class rating
  • Experience in utility or pipeline patrol operations
  • Ability to serve as Pilot in Command in helicopters
  • Knowledge of safety briefings and emergency procedures for aviation

Responsibilities

  • Act as Pilot in Command responsible for the operation and safety of the helicopter and all persons involved
  • Provide aerial support for pipeline patrols and personal transport
  • Provide liaison with TC Energy’s lines of business to determine flight operations and deliver helicopter expertise
  • Provide safety briefings including instruction on aircraft safety and survival equipment
  • Conduct thorough preflight planning for each day’s patrol schedule
  • Oversee safe configuration of aircraft including adherence to weight limits and proper cargo securement
  • Conduct administrative tasks such as recording flight duty times, aircraft document revision, and expense management
  • Participate in the Company’s Safety Management system by reporting hazards and aiding corrective actions
