About this role
Bell pioneers aviation innovations, from breaking the sound barrier to advanced tiltrotor systems and the Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA). This role delivers accurate, current configurations to the shop floor, ensuring precision in engineering changes. It's vital during high-change development periods.
Manage CDRL and DID requirements while executing change processes in the ENOVIA environment. Monitor Engineering Bill-of-Material and Planning Bill-of-Material stability, providing feedback on data issues. Apply proper data marking to adhere to contract scope and export regulations.
Coordinate with design engineering, supply chain, contracts, and cross-functional teams to resolve issues. Establish relationships with internal teams, USG customers, regulatory agencies, partners, OEMs, and suppliers. Discuss cutovers, deadlines, and modifications regularly.
Join efforts shaping Army Aviation's future through FLRAA, Bell 525 Relentless, and HSVTOL programs. Work onsite in Wichita, Kansas, supporting specialized engineering. Contribute to US Army’s Future Vertical Lift modernization.
Requirements
- Proficiency in ENOVIA PLM environment for configuration and data management
- Experience with aerospace change processes and product data handling
- Knowledge of CDRL and DID requirements in defense contracts
- Familiarity with data marking, contract scope, and export regulations like ITAR
- Ability to monitor and assess Engineering Bill-of-Material (EBOM) and Planning Bill-of-Material (PBOM) health
- Skills in coordinating with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and government customers
- Understanding of aircraft engineering configurations for shop floor implementation
Responsibilities
- Manage Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) and Data Item Deliverable (DID) requirements
- Execute the change process, configuration management, data management, and product-related data in the ENOVIA environment
- Determine and apply proper data marking to deliverable information and ensure adherence to contract scope and export regulations
- Monitor stability and health of Engineering Bill-of-Material and Planning Bill-of-Material for the assigned program and provide feedback to data owners
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with internal Bell and external customers including USG, regulatory agencies, partners, OEMs, and suppliers
- Coordinate with contracts organization and customers regarding new or changing requirements
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and provide specific direction to data owners for compliance
- Monitor engineering release and provide appropriate and compliant data submittals to requesting or contracting customers
