The First Officer (SIC) assists the Pilot in Command in all flight duties for safe, efficient operations. Day-to-day involves supporting flight planning with weather analysis, routing, and performance calculations. Monitor aircraft systems, operate radios for clearances, and maintain crew resource management during flights. Handle pre-flight inspections, post-flight documentation, and passenger comfort needs.

Operate across diverse U.S. and international missions with a team valuing integrity, collaboration, and accountability. Engage actively in the Safety Management System to identify and mitigate risks. Participate in safety audits and emergency procedures as needed.

Requirements

  • 2000 total flight hours, including a minimum of 100 hours in multi-engine fixed-wing aircraft
  • Turbine experience preferred
  • Commercial Pilot Certificate with multi-engine instrument rating or higher required
  • Current First-Class Medical Certificate required
  • Strong working knowledge of FAA regulations and flight operations procedures
  • Excellent communication and decision-making skills for team operations
  • Proficiency in CRM and flight management systems
  • Must be available to report to the departure airport within 60 minutes for charter flight assignments

Responsibilities

  • Support the PIC in planning and executing flight operations, including weather analysis, routing, aircraft performance calculations, and pre-flight inspections
  • Monitor instrumentation and aircraft systems during all phases of flight
  • Operate navigational and communication radios, obtaining clearances and relaying instructions as directed by the PIC
  • Maintain crew coordination, communication, and engagement in the Safety Management System to mitigate risks
  • Assist in pre-flight inspections, ensuring aircraft is clean, stocked, and ready with manuals, charts, and passenger items
  • Perform post-flight procedures and documentation
  • Remain alert to abnormal situations, taking control of the aircraft if PIC is inattentive or incapacitated
  • Provide excellent customer service to passengers, ensuring their comfort and safety
