They have an immediate opening for a senior Avionics Engineering Support role primarily supporting AFLCMC/WAM F-16 division at Hill AFB. The position focuses on the F-16 Viper, a multi-role fighter jet for USAF and coalition partners.
Daily responsibilities include supporting regeneration of AMARG stored Block 15/25/30 F-16 aircraft to the Aerial Target Program and requirements definition. Provide oversight for systems engineering milestones, approve subsystem designs, and verify software/hardware for avionics integration. Identify Engineering Change Proposals, TCTOs, and avionics changes for program feasibility.
The F-16 program features the largest Foreign Military Sales in U.S. history with over 4,500 jets for 24 countries and production through 2030. It includes the Multi-National Fighter Program under a unique MOU framework with partner nations. Units are at Hill AFB, Wright-Patterson, Tyndall, Eglin, and Davis-Monthan AFBs.

Requirements
- Expertise in F-16 avionics systems and integration
- Knowledge of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTOs)
- Experience with Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) processes
- Familiarity with F-16 regeneration and Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group (AMARG) operations
- Ability to support systems engineering milestones, design verification, and flight test
- Understanding of F-16 supply chain, spares, and risk assessment
- Secret security clearance
- Senior-level avionics engineering experience in fighter aircraft programs
Responsibilities
- Support regeneration and conversion of AMARG stored Block 15/25/30 F-16 aircraft to the Aerial Target Program
- Support requirements definition, systems engineering milestone review oversight, approval of subsystem level designs, verifying completed software and hardware designs, aircraft designs, development, ground and flight test support, and avionics integration
- Identify Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTOs), or avionics changes on potential aircraft and determine feasibility while ensuring TCTO compliance
- Conduct site visits to identify facility upgrades or improvements required for F-16 operations
- Support TIMs, provide discussion inputs and avionics recommendations, accomplish kit proofs for TCTO development, and perform aircraft hands-on support
- Assess integrity and capability of the F-16 supply system to ensure ample spares and repair capabilities for refurbishments
- Identify potential or actual gaps or risks in the F-16 supply chain
- Provide avionics inputs to decision makers on F-16 fleet composition and parts pooling
