Assist with modification, integration and scheduled maintenance on prototype and test aircraft incorporating ZeroAvia’s hydrogen electric powertrain. Work across all mechanical areas on CS23 and CS25 light passenger aircraft. Contribute to design, development, validation and verification of systems on and off aircraft.

Integrated into a dynamic, fast-paced Engineering team solving technical problems in hydrogen storage, fuel cells and thermal management. Cotswold Airport serves as UK Head Office with engineer-built workspace near Cirencester. Enjoy good links to M4 and M5 motorways.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years aircraft maintenance experience relevant to aircraft mechanical systems / powertrain installation
  • Relevant engineering degree and/or aircraft maintenance work experience
  • Direct hands-on experience in structural repairs, mechanical modifications and installation
  • Experience carrying out aircraft modifications
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics
  • Valid Human Factors training, EWIS + Fuel Tank Safety
  • CAA Part 66 AML B1.1 with at least 1 type already held
  • Genuine passion for clean technology and future of electric aviation

Responsibilities

  • Assist in modification, integration activities and scheduled/unscheduled maintenance on prototype aircraft (CS23 & CS25 aircraft)
  • Perform quality control and inspections of components and installation work
  • Assist in providing solutions to practical problems involving powertrain integration and effects on associated components
  • Assist in manufacturing and assembling components for testing
  • Support production and bench test work required by subsystem leads
  • Ensure proper execution of parts tags on repairable, serviceable or condemned parts
  • Observe health and safety procedures and COSHH at all times
  • Maintain day-to-day housekeeping to a high standard and control company tooling and parts
