About this role

The Crew Controller Executive supervises Flight and Cabin Crew rosters on a day-to-day basis. This role ensures correct crew complement, monitors crew pairing rotation, and maintains legality of operations. Duties include allocation in line with the Flight Time Limitations (FTL) Scheme.

Confirm all accommodation and transport requirements as booked by Roster Planning, amending as required for the published roster. Identify problems and provide recommendations for forward planning of standby coverage and duty blocks. Answer crew-related enquiries and advise other stations of crew allocation changes.

Anticipate and coordinate required changes to the flying program, liaising with other departments as necessary. Prepare hotel bookings for ad hoc crew postings to outstations. Manage day-to-day disruptions to the airline's flying schedule.

Requirements

  • A minimum of one year of experience in the aviation industry or a Degree related to aviation (Preferred)
  • Familiarity with AIMS software (advantage)
  • Experience in the operations department (advantage)
  • Knowledge of Crew flight and duty time limitations (preferable)
  • Proficient in the English language (written and oral)
  • High school education cleared or higher (High level of Maths proficiency preferred)
  • Good knowledge of Google Suites (Google Sheets especially)
  • Must be willing to work in shifts with a positive attitude and team spirit
