About this role

We’re seeking skilled contract engineers to join a high-performing team delivering essential services across aircraft disassembly, maintenance, storage, and return to service. This role offers an immediate start with a minimum of 200 hours per month until Spring 2026. Opportunities exist for extension or return in September 2026.

As a Licensed B1 Engineer, you’ll ensure aircraft maintenance meets the highest standards in compliance with regulatory and company requirements. You’ll supervise base maintenance activities and act as certifying staff on Boeing 737NG aircraft at Teesside International Airport.

Licensed Aircraft Engineers perform maintenance on time per applicable requirements, releasing work to service safely. The role includes supervising staff, allocating work, and interacting with Quality Auditors for unhindered audits. You’ll uphold Quality Policy, Human Factors, and maintain facilities to high standards.

Report problems to the Safety and Compliance Manager and promote a Just Culture. Prepare and review work packages, archiving them accurately for CAMO. Actively support a positive safety learning culture through occurrence reporting and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • UK CAA Part 66 License B1
  • Current type ratings on Boeing 737NG
  • Supervisory experience running base or line maintenance checks
  • Knowledge of Part M, Part 145, Part 66 & Part 147
  • Knowledge of CAMO
  • HF Qualified
  • EWIS Qualified
  • SFAR88 Qualified

Responsibilities

  • Certify and support staff exercising privileges per individual authorisation document
  • Supervise base maintenance activities and allocate work effectively
  • Ensure completion and certification of all customer work to high compliance standards
  • Adhere strictly to approved maintenance data and company procedures
  • Perform maintenance strictly in accordance with approved maintenance data
  • Review completed work packages, identify errors, and ensure corrections
  • Archive electronic copies of work packages and send originals to CAMO
  • Submit internal occurrence reports and promote safety learning culture
