About this role

BlueForce, Inc. seeks experienced Flight Attendant Instructors (C-32A/C-37A/B/C-40B) for the 89th Airlift Wing Formal Training Unit (FTU) at Andrews AFB, MD. Deliver high-quality instruction to flight attendants and Communication System Operators on high-profile government aircraft. Strong emphasis on emergency protocols, customer service standards, aircraft procedures, and regulatory compliance.

Instruct Executive Airlift FTU students using current training guides and courseware. Oversee student progress, evaluate performance, and assist with proficiency and deficiency corrections. Administer tests, prepare records like AF form 1522s, and ensure monthly and quarterly reviews are completed.

Coordinate with Formal Training Unit leadership to request power-on trainers outside Operations Group needs. Provide input to FTU flying trainers on training focus areas. Oversee course materials and review documents after each class before squadron submission.

Maintain and adjust training lesson plans, PowerPoints, quizzes, and surveys in coordination with staff. Position supports the 89th Airlift Wing mission with additional duties possible post-contract award. This full-time role requires negligible travel.

Requirements

  • Active Secret clearance
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a previous Gulf Stream Flight Attendant Instructor/Communication System Operator Instructor and Boeing Flight Attendant Instructor/Communication System Operator Instructor
  • At least five (5) years of demonstrated understanding of C-32A/C-37A/B/C-40B systems and security requirements
  • Minimum of five (5) years demonstrated knowledge and practical application of C-32A/C-37A/B/C-40B technical publications, 89th Airlift Wing Operations Procedures and Air Force regulations
  • Five (5) or more years of demonstrated understanding and knowledge of current Air Mobility Command, United States Air Force requirements, and 89th Airlift Wing processes for mission execution
  • At least five (5) years of demonstrated knowledge of the 89th Airlift Wing mission and operations
  • Demonstrated proficiency with computers, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Projects, and Microsoft Office software
  • Demonstrated competence in guiding students through structured learning and fostering engagement and performance improvement

Responsibilities

  • Instruct Executive Airlift Formal Training Unit students in accordance with current training guide and courseware
  • Oversee progress of all students and assist in achieving proficiency
  • Evaluate student performance
  • Assist students in deficiency corrections
  • Prepare and maintain files and records pertinent to the EA FTU including AF form 1522s and short records
  • Administer tests
  • Provide input to FTU flying trainers on recommended training focus
  • Maintain and adjust training lesson plans, PowerPoints, quizzes and surveys in coordination with staff
