At the Gennevilliers Campus, the Engineering Stations team develops state-of-the-art SatCom terminals for deployment on operational theaters and aeronautical platforms.

As Engineering Delivery Manager, you will establish the development strategy and lead engineering from initial requirements through delivery. You will be the direct client interface, addressing all station-related issues by leveraging Thales experts across multiple domains.

You will manage the development of a new Aero Satcom Station for our forces, coordinating multidisciplinary internal engineering teams and subcontractors. The role involves piloting system engineering activities across design, integration, validation, qualification, industrialization, and production support.

This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge satellite communication technologies for LEO, MEO, and GEO constellations, with anti-jamming capabilities and secure cyber networks. Requirements

  • Proven experience in engineering management for complex systems, preferably in satellite communications or defense
  • Strong understanding of system engineering lifecycle (design, integration, validation, qualification, industrialization)
  • Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and external subcontractors
  • Experience in risk and opportunity management within engineering projects
  • Client-facing skills with the ability to address technical questions and build stakeholder confidence
  • Knowledge of satellite communication technologies (LEO, MEO, GEO constellations) and secure network integration
  • Fluency in French and English for effective communication with international teams and clients

Responsibilities

  • Pilot system engineering activities for the terminal across all development phases (design, integration, validation, qualification, industrialization, and production support)
  • Organize and lead multidisciplinary internal engineering teams and subcontractors according to the management plan
  • Define and implement appropriate action plans to meet technical, cost, and schedule commitments
  • Ensure adherence to technical commitments, development costs, series costs, and delivery deadlines
  • Identify and control risks and opportunities across all engineering activities
  • Serve as the technical point of contact for the station, ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle
  • Drive the development and realization of Aero Satcom terminals through integration with the aircraft manufacturer and acceptance by the forces
