In this permanent full-time role, you will be part of the Crew Control team operating 24/7 with 12-hour day and night shifts on a lifestyle roster 4,5,5. The team manages network disruption and coordinates Cabin Crew and Pilot rosters. You will work closely with the Manager Crew Tracking from Brisbane Head Office in Southbank.

As a Crew Controller, ensure all flights are correctly resourced compliantly before take-off and assess cost versus on-time performance in crew recovery solutions. Provide input to process improvement initiatives and raise safety matters through relevant reporting tools. Demonstrate strong teamwork in a flexible environment handling changing priorities and disruptions.

Requirements

  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues
  • Flexible approach and ability to manage changing priorities, unplanned disruptions, and competing deadlines
  • Demonstrated understanding of airline or similar logistical operations
  • Ability to participate in a rotating on-call roster whilst demonstrating high level of service
  • Understanding of Sabre AirCrews
  • Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining positive relationships with all stakeholders
  • Proficient in MS Office suite of programs

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all flights are correctly resourced in a compliant manner before take-off
  • Assess cost versus on-time performance and customer benefit within all crew recovery solutions
  • Provide input to process improvement initiatives
  • Raise safety matters through relevant reporting tools
  • Manage network disruptions for Cabin Crew and Pilot rosters
  • Coordinate crew scheduling on a 24/7 rotating shift basis
