About this role
The Regional Manager, Cabin Crew VIC & SA provides regional leadership and development of Cabin Crew to deliver Jetstar Cabin Crew Operations strategies. This high-visibility role manages large crew cohorts across international and domestic operations in Melbourne, Avalon and Adelaide. It drives cultural change and capability uplift at all levels through coaching Cabin Crew Development Managers.
Translate strategic plans into actionable activities for the team while initiating plans to meet financial, customer and people performance metrics. Manage escalations on rostering, service disruptions, compliance and customer complaints. Oversee performance management including absenteeism and case management.
Develop leadership skills in direct reports to achieve business objectives and champion safety leadership with local execution. Participate in a rotational 24x7 on-call roster adhering to critical incident management principles. Foster a consistent approach to supporting frontline team members across the region.

Requirements
- Previous experience managing a large industrialised workforce or similar
- Experience in dealing and working with unions and highly regulated environments
- Strong consultation skills and ability to interact with all levels of an organisation
- Strong people leadership skills with the ability to drive change and performance
- Clear and effective verbal and non-verbal communication skills
- Desire for a hands-on approach in strategic planning and achievements
- Willingness to travel frequently between Melbourne and Adelaide as well as other destinations as required
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the VIC & SA Cabin Crew team in safety, operations, and people responsibilities
