Breeze is hiring “Seriously Nice” Part Time Flight Attendants for the MSY Crew Base. Flight Attendants ensure safety and comfort of Guests and Team Members while embracing Breeze’s Five Core Values: Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity, and Excellence.
Provide an exceptional Guest experience by warmly welcoming Guests, aiding in seating assignments, luggage stowage, and additional information requests. Remain present and available for further assistance while monitoring the cabin regularly. Stay approachable and accommodating throughout the flight.
Maintain a safe work environment, remain calm under pressure, and mitigate high-stress situations. Effectively communicate, collaborate, and show respect for fellow Team Members. Demonstrate personal responsibility by being punctual, timely, and proactive.
Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages including alcohol while practicing highest hygiene standards. Provide instruction on emergency and evacuation procedures and administer first-aid if required. Uphold professional appearance, etiquette guidelines, and cabin cleanliness standards.
Successfully complete paid initial Flight Attendant training with progressive pay rates starting at $25 per hour. Receive initial luggage and uniform issuance paid by Breeze. Gain eligibility for 401K after 90 days and travel benefits after 30 days on Breeze network.
Requirements
- Must live within a two-hour driving distance from Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport
- Interview and be selected to become a Part Time Breeze Flight Attendant
- Successfully complete initial Flight Attendant training
- Embrace Breeze’s Five Core Values – Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity, and Excellence
- Use good judgement and be nice in high-visibility role
- Remain flexible with schedules due to operational, weather-related, and other delays
- Stay current and compliant with FAA regulations, company procedures, and training requirements
- Capable of controlling personal and emotional responses
Responsibilities
- Provide an exceptional Guest experience by warmly welcoming Guests onto aircraft and aiding in seating, luggage stowage, and information requests
- Remain positive, kind, and empathetic so Guests feel valued and appreciated
- Maintain a safe work environment for Guests and Team Members
- Remain calm under pressure and mitigate high-stress situations
- Effectively communicate, collaborate, and show respect for other Team Members
- Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages including alcohol while practicing highest hygiene standards
- Provide instruction including emergency and evacuation procedures to Guests
- Administer first-aid and medical care if required in an emergency
