About this role

Daedalean is a Zürich-based startup founded by experienced engineers to revolutionize air travel within the next decade. They combine computer vision, deep learning, and robotics for full level-5 autonomy in flying vehicles. As Chief Architect, lead the design team developing the Autonomous Dynamic Flight Planner (ADFP), core of the DDLN autonomous flight suite.

The ADFP integrates DDLN proprietary traffic and terrain sensing capabilities with normal flight planning. It includes aircraft system monitoring, abnormal situation flight replanning, and autonomous flight control in normal and emergency situations. Oversee this comprehensive integration for revolutionary autonomous flight.

Join a team of experienced engineers and researchers from recognized companies and institutions. Tackle difficult and interesting problems in a rapid iteration environment. Participate in test flights in the Swiss Alps.

Grow with stock options, pilot license subsidy, and hybrid work setting. Access a Learning & Development budget to visit conferences of your choice. Enjoy gym membership for work-life balance.
