About this role
At KLM Cityhopper we carry out many return flights daily. This is only possible with optimal scheduling of cabin and cockpit personnel. Your task is to monitor this crew planning during the day of execution and adjust in case of disruptions.
When flights are cancelled, delayed, or crew reports sick or not fit to fly, it impacts planning immediately. You repair the schedule to keep it complete and punctual, complying with EASA, CAOs, and Vliegdienst/Cabinedienst guidelines. You solve this complex puzzle under high pressure with little time available.
You work in the Operations Control Center at Schiphol-Oost, the heart of KLM and KLM Cityhopper. Join a team of 18 crew controllers and 5 specialists focused on KLC flights. Tasks are divided, collaboration is close, and shifts include nights and weekends.
Determine extra flights with available crew, handle last-minute phone queries, prevent out-of-pocket costs like hotels and taxis. Communicate with cockpit and cabin crew on allocations. Actively contribute to improvement projects with room for personal development.
