About this role

We need a strong profile having good exp in stakeholder & SRE team management. Good understanding of Production engineering and production support projects is a must, including handling teams working in a 24/7 model.

Good understanding of Incident, change, and service request management is a daily routine. The candidate should know how to manage the workload and rotate FTEs as and when required while leading BAU governance activities with necessary reporting data.

Working experience includes 24x7 operations support for mission critical applications using ServiceNow. GCP and private-cloud operational support covers provision, capacity management, reliability, monitoring, and restoration along with AppDynamics, Splunk, CI/CD pipelines, Kafka, MQ, Tomcat, Hazelcast, Control M, and Kubernetes cluster management.

Able to lead the SRE team to work in parallel on Service or Change Requests, the Defect management board, and backlog management in an agile manner while driving proof of concepts incorporating AI models for event correlation and assisted triaging.

Requirements

Experience with 24x7 operations support model for mission critical applications using ServiceNow
Working knowledge of GCP and private-cloud operational support and administration
Experience with AppDynamics and Splunk for monitoring and observability
Knowledge of CI/CD tool chains, deployment pipelines, and middleware including Kafka and MQ
Experience maintaining Hazelcast clusters and Control M job schedulers
Kubernetes cluster management, monitoring, remediation, and Docker knowledge
Ability to automate deployments and script self-healing workflows
Inclination to lead proof of concepts incorporating AI models for event correlation

Responsibilities

Lead stakeholder and SRE team management for production engineering projects
Manage Incident, change, and service request workload and rotate FTEs in 24/7 model
Drive BAU governance activities with daily, weekly, and monthly cadence and reporting
Oversee ad hoc activities including vulnerabilities fixes and patching awareness
Administer GCP and private-cloud operations including capacity, reliability, and restoration
Configure monitoring and observability using AppDynamics and Splunk
Maintain Kubernetes clusters, Docker, Hazelcast, Control M, Kafka, and Tomcat
Define SLIs, configure SLOs, and automate self-healing workflows based on telemetry
