Part-time employees generally work 32 hours over 5 days. New hires complete 4-6 weeks of training consisting of classroom and on-the-job instruction. The role requires consistent attendance and the ability to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

  • Must be a current resident of the State of California
  • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
  • Physical ability to lift, push, and pull heavy baggage and cargo
  • Willingness to complete 4-6 weeks of required training
  • Availability for variable shifts including weekends and holidays
  • No prior interview for Ramp Agent at LAX within the last 12 months

Responsibilities

  • Guide planes into position on the ramp
  • Move bags and cargo to and from aircraft
