About this role

ATEXIS, a multinational consultancy specializing in engineering support services, is seeking a CAMO/MRO Engineer to join our team in Madrid. You will manage a helicopter fleet, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance through effective maintenance planning and production coordination.

Your day-to-day will involve leading work orders and task packages tailored to client needs, including applicable tasks such as Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives. You will collaborate closely with workshop and production supervisors to oversee the entire maintenance process from planning to aircraft delivery.

You will be part of a highly qualified technical team, providing support to certification office and CAMO activities. This role requires coordination with production teams for task scheduling and ensuring all documentation meets internal and external quality standards.

Requirements

  • Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or similar field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in CAMO or MRO environments.
  • Previous experience with helicopters is valued.
  • English level B2 or higher.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support cross-functional production engineering activities.
  • Provide support to certification office and CAMO activities.
  • Lead work orders, instructions, and task packages (customized, including applicable tasks, SBS, ADS) for the workshop with the required quality level.
  • Prepare and update the master list of Service Bulletins (SBS) and Airworthiness Directives (ADS) for helicopters and components, and analyze them for implementation in work packages.
  • Track all work processes in coordination with Workshop and Production supervisors until aircraft delivery, ensuring compliance with regulations and procedures.
  • Coordinate with the production team responsible for task scheduling.
  • Supervise and update technical records of work (internal and external documents, including the CAMO management tool).
  • Supply all necessary documentation to the Quality Department.
