FR · Full-time · €80,000 – €100,000

About this role

You will join the Stations Engineering team at Thales' Gennevilliers Campus, the heart of design and development for major defense systems including satellite communications. This role centers on developing compact SatCom terminals for the latest LEO, MEO, and GEO satellite constellations, utilizing AESA antenna technology for On-The-Move applications on land, air, or maritime platforms.

As Engineering Delivery Manager, you will establish the development strategy and oversee all engineering phases from requirements expression through to final delivery. You serve as the direct technical interface with the client, answering questions on station-related issues while relying on Thales experts across various domains.

You will pilot multidisciplinary engineering activities—internal teams and subcontractors—covering system design, integration, validation, qualification, industrialization, and production support. You are accountable for technical commitments, development costs, series costs, and schedule adherence, identifying and managing risks and opportunities throughout the project.

This role offers continuous skills development through training paths, internal academies, and communities within an inclusive environment that respects work-life balance. You will contribute to Thales' recognized societal and environmental commitments while leading cutting-edge satellite communication solutions for defense forces.

  • Experience in risk and opportunity management within engineering projects
  • Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Establish the development strategy and ensure overall engineering piloting from requirements expression to delivery
  • Pilot system engineering activities for the terminal across all development phases: conception, integration, validation, qualification, industrialization, and production support
  • Organize and lead multidisciplinary internal engineering teams and subcontractors according to the management plan, defining and implementing appropriate action plans
  • Guarantee technical commitments, development cost adherence, series cost control, and on-time delivery of the solution
  • Identify and manage risks and opportunities throughout engineering activities
  • Assure communication as the technical referent for the station with the client and operational teams, up to factory acceptance and on-site testing

Benefits

  • Attractive compensation package reflecting your experience and ambition
  • Continuous skills development through training programs, internal academies, and communities
  • Inclusive, supportive environment with respect for work-life balance
  • Recognized societal and environmental commitment from a global technology leader
