Do you enjoy working outdoors in a fast-paced, safety-obsessed aviation environment? As a Ramp Agent, you will be essential in ensuring that flights run on time by providing efficient ground support services to airlines.

You will guide aircraft to and from gates, handle baggage and cargo loading, operate belt loaders and pushback tugs, and clean aircraft cabins between flights while following strict safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Be on time, prepared, and safe while working flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Complete all training required by the company, airport authority, or customer.
  • Follow company procedures and protocols to ensure safe and responsible operations.
  • Take reasonable care for personal health, wellbeing, safety, and security and that of others.
  • Inform the manager or supervisor of any work situation representing immediate danger.
  • Carry out work in accordance with provided information and training.

Responsibilities

  • Guide inbound and outbound airplanes to and from the gate.
  • Transport, lift, load, unload, sort, and transfer passenger baggage, cargo, and mail in a safe manner.
  • Safeguard customer baggage, air cargo, and airmail from weather, loss, theft, damage, and destruction.
  • Clean aircraft passenger cabins between flights and stock aircraft with needed supplies.
  • Operate heavy equipment such as pushback equipment while maintaining visual contact with Wing Walkers.
  • Operate motorized equipment including belt loaders, lift trucks, push back tugs, and deicers.
  • Complete paperwork and enter data into the company's information system as required.
  • Report hazards, near misses, incidents, and dangerous occurrences to the manager or supervisor.
