Join Worldwide Flight Services as a Ramp Agent and contribute to the timely delivery of cargo shipment, luggage, and on-time flights while operating safely and securely. We perform at the highest level for our customers every day across 164 airport locations on five continents.

The work of a TWU Cargo Ramp involves loading and unloading cargo on and off aircraft as well as transporting cargo between terminals and aircraft. Remain cognizant of security activities and report breaches or non-compliance with the site security plan.

Operate in a fast-paced airport environment performing ground service functions while maintaining a secure work area. This role is covered by a collective bargaining agreement with the Transport Workers Union.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ability to lift and handle heavy baggage and cargo up to 50 lbs or more
  • Valid Driver's license must be maintained throughout employment
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends, holidays, and nights
  • Ability to pass background checks and comply with airport security regulations
  • Fluently read, write, and speak the English language
  • This job is covered by a collective bargaining agreement requiring TWU membership and dues

Responsibilities

  • Marshall aircraft upon arrival and departure.
  • Load and unload cargo on and off aircraft.
  • Transport cargo between terminals and aircraft.
  • Safely drive and operate ground support equipment including belt loaders and tugs.
  • Perform ground service functions such as connecting and removing ground power and water service.
  • Perform aircraft pushback, wing walking and related guide man functions.
  • Maintain a secure work environment.
  • Report security breaches, suspicious occurrences, or non-compliance with the site security plan.
